Don’t be afraid to get strong, this is especially true for women. For most people, their interest in “fitness” stems from a desire to lose weight, or change their body composition.
The quickest, and most effective way of doing this is to become stronger so that you can move more weight in a controlled manner, and build more lean muscle mass.
For women, this is how you get “tone”, build a nice butt, and quickly burn unwanted fat. For men, this is how you will shed midsection fat and build a bigger chest and arms.
Becoming strong not only has beneficial body composition effects, but it allows you to move through life with more durability, and less pain, as well as providing beneficial hormonal effects.
Your training goal should focus on becoming a stronger version of yourself, and ladies, please don’t be afraid to lift some weights!
