What if you knew that all the keys to health were in your hands and that the last four doctors you will ever need live within you? As C.H.E.K trained professionals, we ourselves check in with and teach our clients to work with their own Four Doctors: Dr Diet, Dr Quiet, Dr Movement and Dr Happiness. Regular visits to all four will ensure a life full of health, happiness, energy and serenity. Following this system is what sets us apart from the regular personal trainer in Sydney.
Visits to Dr Movement include having an exercise program that honors where you body is at under current physiological load. We are very lucky to have each other to write programs to follow and target our individual needs, but its always fun to do a group workout to socialize and have some fun together.
Dr Quiet is the most under visited Dr of the four doctors, I feel. This involves getting enough sleep. The Momentum for Life team are early risers and so we all tend to go to bed between 9pm and 10pm on a week night for a 6 or 7am start. We all also like to meditate or get into some Zone exercises to “work in”.
Visiting Dr. Diet has become so easy for us as we take turns buying food and cooking for the rest of the team in our slow cookers. All our food is organic and grass fed of course and we rotate our meats as well as honor everyone’s metabolic type.
Dr Happiness is the keeper of your dreams, passions and visions. We are very lucky as we all have the dream of bringing health to the world, but that is different for all of us and it is important for us as a team to keep each other in check. Then we also have dreams outside of our careers that also must be honored.
Its been a long time since any of us visited a doctor of the general kind, that’s for sure.
